I stayed at the Simplitel Hotel Karon, and while the location is fantastic with all the restaurants and the beach just a short walk away, I found the overall experience lacking. The rooms were quite spacious but not well maintained, with uncomfortable beds and broken tiles in the bathroom. The amenities could use significant improvement, especially the internet and fitness center. For the price, I expected much better quality and comfort.

However, I encountered a significant issue with the water getting a terrible smell, which was quite off-putting. The location is fantastic with a minimart just below and plenty of restaurants within walking distance. If they manage to fix the water problem, I'd consider coming back.

While the staff were generally friendly, the hotel felt outdated and lacked proper maintenance, particularly in the rooms which were uncomfortable due to hard beds and inadequate amenities.
